At the moment Péter Palátsik is writing FLITTERWOCHEN (worktitle), a comedy for the Kaminski.Stiehm filmproduction.
September, 2006: DRAWN IN BLOOD is released on DVD on September 28th, 2006.
August, 2006: THE CREAM CHARADE wins at the 2nd GalaoShots short film festival (http://www.galao-shots.com/)
July, 2006: Gute Filme GmbH, Switzerland produces THE CREAM CHARADE, an improvised shortfilm about two befriended couples starting to hate each other, while playing charade after dinner. Director: Péter Palátsik, Photography: Isabelle Arnold, Editor: Christof Schilling. Produced by Robert Ralston jr. with Melissa Holroyd, Valérie Lasserre, Tomas S. Spencer and Tim Williams.
Biography
Péter Palátsik graduated from the Hungarian Academy for Drama and Film, in Budapest, Hungary with an MFA in film- and TV directing. After directing several music videos and short films, he worked as 1st and 2nd Assistant Director on international movie productions, working for Directors including Deepa Mehta, D.W. Buck, Eoin Moore and Bob Rafelson.
After his first feature film, IRGENDWAS IST IMMER, he has recently finished postproduction for DRAWN IN BLOOD, a Horrorthriller for Valerian Film, Berlin an Epix Media. DoP: Isabelle Arnold, Cast: Anna Fin, Tim Williams, Tomas S. Spencer and Dan van Husen.
Currently he has just finished his first commercial spot for ’Die Deutsche Bank’ and the shortfilm THE CREAM CHARADE.
Péter Palátsik lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
